About the Regiment Staff

The Regiment Staff supports the unit leadership at the Communications Regiment in leading and coordinating operations at the regiment. The staff consists of ten departments with different focuses and is staffed by both military and civilian personnel. The departments have various responsibilities in areas such as personnel, security, execution, logistics, planning, command systems, exercises and training, finance, communication, and defense medicine.

The Regiment Staff is now looking for three Staff Assistants.

Main Responsibilities

The position of Staff Assistant means that you will support the various position holders in the staff. The support consists of ongoing administration, follow-up, meeting preparations and follow-up work, archive services, and, where applicable, signal protection.

The tasks vary in difficulty and complexity, and some tasks you will need to grow into during your employment.

You will be supervised within your department, but the tasks often involve coordination with other departments within the staff and other parts of the regiment.

The Swedish Armed Forces is experiencing strong growth, and the tasks may evolve over time.

Requirements

• Approved military basic training (GMU/GU)
• Driver's license B
• Work experience as GSS/K
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Good experience working with Microsoft Office/Sharepoint
• Approved high school education or equivalent competence assessed by the employer as equivalent.

DESIRABLE

• Staff Assistant training or equivalent education
• Work experience in an administrative position
• Minibus driving license
• Education: System Operator Theory (SystopT)
• Experience working in staff (military/civilian)
• Completed military service in a staff function

Employment type: Fixed-term employment according to GSS/K agreement. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority.
